State Representative Tim Dukes was first elected in 2012 to represent the citizens of the 40th District in the Delaware House of Representatives. The district includes the municipalities of Laurel, Delmar, and Bethel.

During his tenure in office, Rep. Dukes has served on the following House committees: Administration; Rules; Ethics; Gaming & Parimutuels; and Veterans Affairs. During the 150th and 151st General Assemblies, he was among the House leadership having been selected by his Republican Caucus colleagues as the House Minority Whip.

Rep. Dukes’ membership affiliations outside the General Assembly include the following: Epworth Christian School Board Member; Delmarva Christian High School Board Member; Potomac Leadership Council; Laurel Ministerial Association; Good Samaritan Board; Wellness Center Committee; Little League coach; and the leader of over 80 missions trips.

Rep. Dukes serves as the Pastor of Central Worship Center. He and his wife, Dottie, reside in Laurel and have four grown children and four grandchildren.
